Grade 9 students take:

Where can students get support?
Student Services:
- Support for students with IEPs
- Students with an IEP are assigned a Special Education Resource Teacher that provides support on a regular basis throughout the year
- Some students may take a Learning Strategies course that can support transition to Grade 9
MLL Supports:
- ESL courses are available each semester to help students develop proficiency in English, especially in writing.
- Students are assessed for their level of English proficiency and placed in appropriate classes.
- MLL students receive accommodations in all of their classes.
Student Success:
- Support for students without an IEP that are in risk of not obtaining a credit
- Students have access for support in Room 119
- Alternative space to avoid distractions
- Academic support- one on one to complete past due assignments or reinforce content
